A MAN OF GOD - A NATION OF DIVINE PROVIDENCE
In one battle as a young military officer, George Washington had at least four bullets pass through his jacket and hat and had two horses shot from beneath him yet emerged unscathed.
During the American Revolution, with an ill-equipped rag tag army of farmers and shop keepers, Washington triumphed over the finest and best equipped military force in the world at that time.
After taking the oath of office as the first President of the US, President Washington of his own accord added the following:
“SO HELP ME GOD” – he then bent down, and kissed the bible.
